Great tuorial! My one remark would be that you don't need to use sudo when run mysql (sudo mysql -u root -p command). Mysql has its own privilege management so mysql -u root -p should be enough.

To anyone thats trying this on a laptop before you try this, try doing a static discharge which is basically disconnecting your battery from your device and then reconnecting it. this could be done from your bios or just by pressing your power button for 30 seconds. look it up and try it according to your device.
